A Dye Job...
Showing Your Artistic Flair Thru Clothing!
Ever wanted to get out of the ho-hum everyday look(haha...) and try something different? I started with the plums, then did the browns...
...and finally, this one in olives...somehow it really works!!! Now wearing it out on the street...I think I'll go with the BROWNS first...you'll be seeing me with a smock and black beret soon...or maybe the geisha look/silk dressing gown as JACKET look(my Japanese hairdresser did that!)
The look is achieved by pairing a short sleeved KNITTED top with a blouse but wearing it outside like a VEST! Of course, you could also use a vest... This faux-fur trimmed hoodie in olive is very bohemian indeed...

Gustav Klimt as Inspiration...
My humble shrine to Klimt and his magnificense and creative genius...
Ever wondered what to wear while painting? Usually it's some old shirt or T-shirt but traditionally it's a denim type shirt/jacket but why not be different and creative... Well this is the Artist's Smock that Klimt wore. I absolutely love the deep turquoise colour and the detail on the shoulders. I have this delim frock that begs some ornamention which I think I will stencil...I'll keep you posted...
Gustav Klimt's Artist's Smock

Fabric paints called "Puff Paints" and "Slick Paints" were used on this top, which I made many years ago. A T-Shirt I wear when I want to be more inspired! But I learned that Klimt too was inspired by his flower garden outside his studio...
My Artist's Smock
I was going through my travel photos and came across this street scene of Amsterdam where a very artistic bus has this wonderful artwork that is reminiscent of Klimt's work!
